Forest Soul of the Week

Darla Thompson is one of the unique burners I met at Burning Man who has a passion in supporting the environment such as ocean cleanup projects. She explained, "Keeping the ecosystem, and it's cycles clean and natural, that is important to me because the wildlife depends on that goal, so that's the foundation of my passion.  Our ocean animals in the wild must have a safe place that aren't filled with man made plastic and wires.  They need to survive with their food, and their diet available and safe to eat. There are so many ways and factors that we can help and work hard with restoring our earth's waters. Probably start with protecting trees.  Trees are also important in restoring the ecosystem in order to provide wildlife the place to live, so I support your product with huge pride.  I love your company's vision, reasons and beliefs in planting trees each time we buy your clothing.  They also look so wonderful, beautiful colorful fashion on me when I exercise, that is even better."  Aww, much love goes to her!  :)

I asked Darla what is her favorite tree and why?  "My favorite trees are the weeping willows because when the day turns out so hot and dry, these trees don't just provide shade, but cool drops of water.  I also love how they dress themselves as a chandelier."

Thank you, Darla, for your continued support and sharing your love for the environment with us!
